TRITON Reagents MgCl2 hexahydrate is Magnesium Chloride (MgCl2 x 6 H2O) a pure and highly safe chemical compound for increasing magnesium (Mg) concentration in marine aquarium.

This product is suitable for 2-Part, 3-Part or other D.I.Y. carbonate supplementation methods used by reef farmers and professional aquarists.

Dissolve 8.4 grams of MgCl2 hexahydrate in osmotic water and by administering the entire solution you can increase the magnesium value of 100 liters of water by 10 mg/L. See instructions in the download section. The same grams increase the chlorine value by 29 mg/L.

You could use any sodium hydrogen carbonate, but you'll never be sure what else might show up inside products that are not certified and checked by professional methods, as assured by Triton Lab instead
