The solenoid valve connects to the CO₂ or other gas administration pipe, saves on consumption.

In freshwater aquarium, CO₂ is administered to regulate pH or as a fertilizer for plants. CO₂ is useful only during photosynthesis, stimulated by lighting.

Using the solenoid valve connected to the light timer saves money and avoids excesses during the night period.

In marine aquaria, where a calcium reactor is used for supplementation, the solenoid valve is connected to the pH controller whose probe is placed inside the reactor itself. An acidic pH capable of dissolving the material present is set. The solenoid valve will be controlled by the controller, and the pH will be constant for the dissolution of the material.

The solenoid valve comes with two tube holder inserts capable of accommodating a diameter of 4 to 6 mm.

The solenoid valve has one inlet and one outlet, not to be reversed during assembly.
