WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH 75GPD 290 L/G
Information:
WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH 75 GPD or 290 L/G is a drinking water purification plant with a reverse osmosis system.
WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH allows the production of pure water, devoid of mineral salts having conductivity and a concentration of total dissolved solids (TDS) close to zero thanks to the post-filter with optical coloring resin it will be possible to have available pure water, equal to distilled water
The WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH system is composed of 4 stages placed in succession:
- 1 tumbler - 5 micron sediment cartridge: to remove suspended particles and rust or particulate residues from the water; replacement is recommended every 6 months or 3000 liters of produced water. The sediment cartridge is placed in a 10-inch transparent container that allows the user to monitor the wear status of the cartridge
- 1 tumbler - cartridge with activated carbon: to remove chlorine, heavy metals and other substances harmful to the membrane or animals in the aquarium from the water; replacement is recommended every 6 months or 3000 liters of produced water along with the sediment cartridge
- reverse osmosis membrane vessel: contains a 75 (1812) gallons per day (GDP) membrane from Vontron, developed for use in domestic systems. Vontron's ULP1812 series membranes are designed to treat low TDS waters such as those in the national water supply. You can assess the TDS of your network with a TDS pen.
- clear cartridge post-filter with color-violating deionizing resin for nitrates, phosphates and silicates. The resin has an indicator that turns from green (new) to blue (exhausted) as it exhausts its deionizing effect.
Vontron's ULP 1812 series membranes are designed for very low operating pressures (Ultra Low Pressure) and are ideally suited to the pressures found on average in domestic osmotic water systems for aquarium production.

WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH features a continuous reader of total dissolved solids in water (TDS):
The TDS reader presnete on the system is an HM Digital DM1 is an in-line meter with two probes for entry to the membrane and exit from the system. The presneza of the DM1 ensures continuous monitoring of incoming water quality, and membrane efficiency.

WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH, the Flush Valve for membrane flushing:
WHIMAR OSMO PRO TECH is equipped with a membrane flush valve that enables its regular maintenance, and extends its average life.
Simply turning the valve knob causes waste water to flow back into the vessel and out from where the permeate normally exits; in this way, the membrane undergoes the flushing process, which improves its surface cleanliness and increases its functionality.
Accessories included in the package are:
- plastic wrenches for tightening the membrane vessel and cups
- steel diverter for connection to the water supply with 1/2″ female thread (tap connection)
- 5 meters of white 3/4″ hose
