TRITON Reagents CaCl2 dihydrate is Calcium Chloride (CaCl2 x 2 H2O) a pure and highly safe chemical compound for increasing magnesium (Ca) concentration in marine aquarium.

This product is suitable for 2-Part, 3-Part or other D.I.Y. carbonate supplementation methods used by reef farmers and professional aquarists.

Dissolve 3.67 grams of CaCl2 dihydrate in osmotic water and by administering the entire solution you can increase the calcium value of 100 liters of water by 10 mg/L. See instructions in the download section. The same grams increase the chlorine value by 18 mg/L.

You could use any sodium hydrogen carbonate, but you'll never be sure what else might show up inside products that are not certified and checked by professional methods, as assured by Triton Lab instead.
