All corals deposit calcium carbonate as aragonite in order to grow. What could be better than finding it ready-made and bioavailable in water! Buffers generally have two parts: one consisting of various forms of bicarbonate for fast action, and one, derived from aragonite, for slower, longer-lasting action.

AragaMILK is the perfect calcium supplement as there is enough calcium in one product to make all your corals grow about 200-250 grams. The calcium in AragaMILK is derived from aragonite and is in a non-caustic form, suitable for the purpose.

Regular use of AragaMILK will help you keep calcium levels high and constant.

AragaMILK also provides essential trace elements such as strontium, magnesium and barium simply and effectively.

AragaMILK can be used both in marine aquaria with and without hard corals and in freshwater aquaria requiring high carbonate concentrations, such as aquaria with African cichlids. AragaMILK is a natural product based on aragonite. Aragonite is the calcium carbonate naturally deposited by all corals and also by purple calcareous algae. No risk of overdosing.

AragaMILK can be used to re-mineralise reverse osmosis water to compensate for evaporated water with carbonates and calcium. In this case, up to 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per 10 litres can be used.

USE

Shake the bottle of AragaMILK very well before use. In marine reef aquaria add 2 drops per 4 litres or 1 ml (20 drops) per 40 litres. For large aquaria 5 ml (one cap) per 200 litres. Add AragaMILK early in the morning or at least 2 hours after lights out.

Do not dose other products to increase Calcium, Magnesium, Strontium or other buffers at the same time.

Optimal alkalinity levels to be achieved are 3.5 meq/L (approximately 8 °dKH) . Raising may take a few days and is best done slowly. If your aquarium is densely populated with corals, xenia, Tridacna dilute AragaMILK in a large volume of water before adding it to the aquarium and add it to the aquarium slowly, either in the technical tank or near a running movement pump.

This prevents the aragonite from settling on the delicate tissues of your animals.
