Floating birthing room can be used both for the birth and growth of fry and to temporarily keep adult fish that need quiet or special care.

When used as a nursery, two females of ovoviviparous species can be placed inside thanks to the special internal partition. The Floating birthing room separates the female so that at birth the fry are not preyed upon by the mother or other fish.

Once the female and the divider are removed, the tank can then be used for the growth of the fry themselves.

Floating birthing room is also useful as a quarantine tank for rehabilitation of fish after recovery from diseases.

The lid provided will prevent fish from escaping or jumping into the birthing room.
