Aragonite sand is the specially selected natural decorative substrate for recreating the bottom of marine aquariums. With amtra's Aragonite Sand, you can set up your aquarium safely.

Aragonite Sand is based on calcium carbonate in the form of aragonite, and is suitable for making the bottom layer in marine aquarium. You can choose to use it with low thickness in the Berlin method, or have the bottom high and then use the DSB system.

Aragonite sand in addition to marine aquariums can be used in freshwater to recreate biotopes where very hard water is needed, such as large African lakes with cichlids: Lake Malawi, Victoria or Tanganyika

Aragonite sand should be washed thoroughly to remove dust that forms inside the bag from rubbing. Arrange an even layer appropriate to the needs of the method you have chosen to conduct your marine aquarium.
