Glax ring is an aquarium filter substrate designed to promote the establishment of nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria in aquarium biological filters. Glax ring has a high useful surface area, 1 liter reaches 200 m2, and the different internal porosity--from 60 to 300 microns--allow easy settlement of bacteria, ensuring high filtration efficiency.

Glax ring should be rinsed thoroughly before use under running water to remove dustiness and stored in the biological filter compartment provided.
