Fiji White sand from Ati aquaristik is a high purity, fine, white ground for saltwater aquariums

Fiji White sand from Ati aquaristik is characterized by many positive attributes:

1. Highest purity: Fiji White sand is 99.6% pure calcium and magnesium compounds and is one of the cleanest materials that you currently get on the market.

2. Very white with high reflection properties: owing to the high purity of the sand is also especially white. This is generally very beneficial for brightness in the aquarium. Corals get so similar in nature, a higher proportion of reflections off the ground, which is very beneficial for corals. The Fiji White sand is ideal for aquariums with corals, which need a lot of light, they also receive a higher proportion of diffuse radiation from below.

3. No extreme drifts: because of his significantly higher density than a comparable Aragonit sand is the Fiji White sand considerably heavier and remains so better be at flow.

APPLICATION:

We recommend a layer height of about 2 cm. At DSB at least 8-10 cm. Because of the low grain size accumulation of Detrius in the ground is largely avoided.

The sand should be thoroughly rinsed several times before using it in the aquarium. The existing dust content, which always caused by friction during transport etc. should be rinsed largely. Rinse the sand for this purpose until the water no longer be milky / white and largely clear will.
